 Week 2 – Leaving Cleaving

Genesis 2 – 24

24. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

The Scripture talks about how a man and woman who get married become one flesh.

The chapter in week two talks about how we separate ourselves from the family and certain decisions that have to be made before you actually get married.

Truly I think a lot of it has to do with trust.

You and I have had some experiences that we could say that we have been through the school of hard knocks.

We have had people that have done us wrong and sometimes we have to be mindful that we don't carry that into our relationship.

Truly I know I have made mistakes and those mistakes have taught me what works and what doesn't work.

You and I today are at or better spot in our lives because of our experiences.

I want to be able to share my heart in my dreams my pains in my hurts with you and I know that you would never share that with anybody.

I trust you very much and I love you more than words can say.

I know sometimes we might be hesitant to share everything because of past experiences.

However, as I stand before God I make a commitment to you that I would never share anything that you would ever share with me with anybody.

I believe God would hold me accountable very much and he should.

I think with you and I have not seen each other every day or even weekly for some weeks that we need to find ways to enhance our communication.

I think we are good right now and I just want to build upon it.

When to be more peripheral about this chapter and I will add more as the spirit leads me.
